Linda Philogene is a therapist at the 11th Street Health Center. Linda attended Temple University where she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Prior to FPCN, she served as the Student/Intern Supervisor and Psychotherapist within a large community mental health center in North Philadelphia. She received specialized training in Cognitive Therapy through University of Pennsylvania’s Beck Initiative. She has worked with a wide array of populations, including Early Head Start, Head Start children and their families, Early Intervention for medically fragile children and autistic disorders and Therapeutic Staff Support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autistic disorders. Her professional experience includes psychotherapy with both children and adults in individual, family, group, and/or couples therapy as well supervisory experience with staff and interns. She enjoys working with children and continues to be in awe and rewarded by their remarkable resilience. Her largest areas of clinical interest are Autism Spectrum, Anxiety and Mood Disorders.
