Kareemah Grossett, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who serves as a Behavioral Health Consultant at the Health Annex. In this role, Kareemah takes great pride in using strengths based and trauma focused perspectives to help patients reach their full potential. A big believer in humanity and social justice, Kareemah uses person centered approaches to assist patients with achieving healthy lifestyle goals. She received her Master’s degree from Bryn Mawr College advanced standing program and Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University, where she graduated with honors. She has obtained post-master’s training in trauma focused CBT at the Joseph J. Peter’s Institute (JJPI). During her career, Kareemah has worked with individuals from various socio-cultural backgrounds. She uses harm reduction and motivational interviewing approaches to assist patients with developing tools to improve their quality of life. She has particular interest in overcoming depression, managing anxiety, trauma, grief issues, and self-care. Kareemah’s varied background working with patients with chronic medical problems and psychosocial stressors provides the perfect foundation for behavioral health consultant work at the Health Annex.
